Wet enamel slip is very abrasive and has a relative high specific weight & viscosity.  Therefore it may only be pumped by means of heavy duty air-driven double action diaphragm pumps.

These pumps are typically used for pumping enamel slip to storage tanks and/or into boilers in case of wet enamel application. In a rare case a smaller version of this pump may also be used for wet enamel spraying.

The chart below shows the expected discharge flow rates with water in relation to the applied air pressure.
